H•E•A•R•T
in Education provides
a wide range of organizational development (OD) services for
public, private, and non-profit educational programs. Our experts
creatively and intuitively apply current theory and a broad base
of practical experience for cutting-edge program design, development,
research and evaluation. Our services incorporate a comprehensive
and systematic approach of planning and continuous improvement
driven by the strengths and goals of the local community or client.
Continuous Program
Improvement (CPI) is a comprehensive approach to program development
and improvement that actively involves a diverse group of stakeholders – including
program staff and administrators, school personnel, parents, children
and youths, and other members of the community. This committed
group of individuals comprises the Program Development and Improvement
Team (PDIT).
By building on current practices and
program strengths, this approach integrates on-going program
evaluation and professional development to foster an environment
of continuous learning. Facilitators of the CPI process guide
and train stakeholders in developing individualized program goals
and an effective strategic plan to achieve those goals. Subsequent
training and professional development is tailored to the specific
needs of the organization as defined by the strategic plan, program
strengths, and areas for growth.
